I am available for school author visits across each of the Key Stages, offering sessions with groups, whole classes or assemblies. I can tailor any session to suit the needs of the pupils.

I also offer home author visits to individual children or small groups, particularly children who are home-schooled or have special educational needs.

Home Schooling

I really enjoy working with home-schooled children, giving them a break from their normal routine, with an inspiring author visit. I am happy to be flexible and work with parents as to whether they are looking for a one-off visit or a series of sessions.

Pricing

I charge £250 for a full-day author visit in schools and £180 for a half-day. Additional travel costs are charged at 50p per mile for a return journey to and from my CT4 postcode.

I am happy to discuss my charges for visits to nurseries, libraries and home school settings on an individual basis.

Confidence For life

A course to be used with groups in schools or in one-to-one tuition, aimed at improving the self-esteem of children aged 5-8. It is based on a series of seven Confident Rhymers books I have created.

Home Tuition

I am an experienced home tutor and have many courses available. I offer specific creative writing sessions and children can also receive English tuition from a published author.
