Creatives Spotlight:

Louise Trotter

Louise was born in the year 1963, famous for its cold temperatures. She was the first born of Gillian and Michael Hawkes, and much loved.

She attended private schools at Highlands, Tilehurst and later Headington School for Girls. She once received a silver cup for reciting poetry and the form prize! She remembers with fondness Mrs Gonella who taught poetry and drama and organized the school play ‘A Christmas Carol’ in which she played the ghost of Jacob Marley.

She loved Jackanory on TV and quite fancied herself as a reader.

She met and married Malcolm, also a Christian and president of Kent University Christian Union. Together they have three adult offspring and two grandchildren. They do one day of shared childminding a week.

Over past years Louise has involved herself with domesticity and children, doing some home schooling and also teaching and hosting European students and teaching piano. She enjoys craft and has recently taught English to Ukrainians. She currently enjoys working with Open Air Campaigners to share the gospel on the streets in Folkestone.
