Andrew Buller’s Biography
Andrew Buller grew up in Staplehurst, Kent. He was educated at Cranbrook School, before being awarded a First Class Honours degree from the University of London. He writes, designs and illustrates children’s books from his home in a small village near Canterbury. His first series, ‘The Rhymers’, was published in 2015. Andrew is a visiting author in schools, tutor, public speaker and consultant in independent publishing. He has developed a Confident Rhymers book series to improve the mental health of young children and delivers Confidence For Life courses in schools and in private tuition. Andrew volunteered for five years from 2014-19 at the homeless charity ‘Catching Lives’ to develop the literacy skills of clients and raise their self-esteem by collaborative working to produce their own illustrated Harbledown book series. In 2020 he created a book within his Rhymers series to thank our key workers featuring children’s artwork and raising money for NHS Charities Together. Andrew is also a prolific poet and his first collection ‘Corona Linings’ was published in 2020.
